I WILL ALWAYS BE ME

This is an anonymous story collected from the public as part of THE WOKINGHAM ARC PROJECT.

I am myself, I will always be me, if I change or grow I will always be ME

What I love about my locale are the people, the kindness, the care, the food, the flowers.

Home is a place where I can go with my family and friends. A place with everyone’s heart. Love is my home.

In the future I hope I go to Japan and watch the anime on the list.

TYING MY LACES BEFORE WALKING THROUGH A FOREST

This is an anonymous story collected from the public as part of THE WOKINGHAM ARC PROJECT.

I am one of the people in this great big world. I love my family and friends and pets;  (two guinea pigs,  Flo and Freddie; two cats,  Maisie and Milo;  my 11 fish;  and my mice; peanut, butter and jelly)

The word “home “means being with everyone I love, tying my laces before walking through a forest, snuggling in my bed wrapped in a blanket, three mice snuggling on my shoulder.

For the future I wish for there to be a pride parade in Wokingham, for everyone to be happy, to have a cottage in the middle of the woods. To have LOTS of pets.

My favourite animal is my three mice;  peanut,  butter and jelly and I want a happy life.

HAVING MY NOSE IN A BOOK AND WRITING MY OWN STORIES

This is an anonymous story collected from the public as part of THE WOKINGHAM ARC PROJECT.

I really like drawing and being with my friends and my dog, having my nose in a book and writing my own stories.

I love plants and being with my dog she is very ‘floofy’.

Home, to me, means dogs. I like dogs.

For the future I wish for DOGS

The bit in my story with the dog. Hooray for dogs.

WISTERIA SURROUNDING ME

This is an anonymous story collected from the public as part of THE WOKINGHAM ARC PROJECT.

I am a ‘Weeb’ who loves cats and dogs and loves drawing and sleeping. What makes me feel alive in my local area is vanilla, silence, cats, dogs, wisteria.

Home to me is a place where my dog, Penny, and family are. It is a place with wisteria surrounding me and sweet smelling flowers, with a bed and cats.

For the future I wish to have three cats, a huge garden with plants all over and trees and the clearing with soft fluffy grass.

I love Japanese food, cats, dogs, wisteria, fluffy things, drawing and sleeping.

THE MOST FLUFFIEST CAT

This is an anonymous story collected from the public as part of THE WOKINGHAM ARC PROJECT.

I am a cat lover, art lover (I love sketching mostly). I love playing video games like Minecraft.

What makes me feel alive are cats and vanilla. Home means having cats.

For the future I imagine having a cat (more than one). THE MOST FLUFFIEST CAT!

I have a cat, I have a cat, I have a cat, I have a fluff cat, I have the best cat!

NATURE ALL AROUND OUTSIDE MY HOUSE AND INSIDE MY HOUSE

This is an anonymous story collected from the public as part of THE WOKINGHAM ARC PROJECT.

I am a boy that likes sport. I’m a boy that likes art. I am a normal boy that eats and sleeps. I am a boy that is adventurous and curious.

What makes me feel alive in my locale is nature all around outside my house and inside my house. I like the smell of fresh breeze.

Home is like a safe house to me. Home is a place where I can relax and enjoy every second with my family.

For the future, I imagine a happy world to enjoy and a peaceful place with no drama.

WATCHING THE PLANTS

THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT WOKINGHAM THAT DRAWS ME BACK LIKE A MAGNET

This is an anonymous story collected from the public as part of THE WOKINGHAM ARC PROJECT.

I am so many different things to many different people. I am a mother, wife, teacher, neighbour, friend and a member of the community.

What makes me feel alive in my locale is the contrast of busy and quiet, hectic and peaceful.

Home is being cosy in my slippers, watching the kids staying in the garden or playing with their trains. Home is where I’m comfy, relaxed and surrounded by the people I love.

For the future, I hope for Wokingham to be a peaceful, safe and happy place to live.

I have lived and travelled all over the world. There’s something about Wokingham that draws me back like a magnet.

SAVING OUR PLANET

This is an anonymous story collected from the public as part of THE WOKINGHAM ARC PROJECT.

I am a teacher, a linguist, an artist, a parent, her mother, sister, a daughter.

What makes me feel alive in my locale is walking my dog, birds singing, fresh air and the wind’s breeze, the sun’s warmth, laughing with my sister.

Home means family, friends, mountains, calm, peace, care, love.

For the future, I hope we will be building a kinder, more peaceful world. Saving our planet.

A BOY THAT SLEEPS IN, A BOY THAT PLAYS

This is an anonymous story collected from the public as part of THE WOKINGHAM ARC PROJECT.

I am a boy who does whatever everyone else does, a boy that likes things and a boy that dislikes things. A boy that sleeps in, a boy that plays.

What makes me feel alive is nature, in my garden, all over the place. The fields and the town is an amazing place!

Home is home, a safe and warm place just for my family, no one else could feel the same warmth.

For the future, I hope for a happy environment for people to live in.

AN ISLAND AMONGST A STORMY SEA

This is an anonymous story collected from the public as part of THE WOKINGHAM ARC PROJECT.

I am what you see, what you can’t see, what’s left of my past, and what’s ready for my future.

Haven – an oasis in a steamless desert, an island amongst a stormy sea, a colonisation in space, a place in the world where your mindset feels safety

I have grown up constantly being isolated from my classmates. I have had no idea why. They gave me weird looks and I try to draw them. When they receive them, it ended in the bin.

NOT EVERYTHING HAS A MEANING, INCLUDING LIFE

This is an anonymous story collected from the public as part of THE WOKINGHAM ARC PROJECT.

I am someone trying to get by, building a future for myself and just being able to live eventually. Successful, numb, “one day and “, reputation, hope, maybe, why,

What makes me feel alive in my locale is how still a fast-paced world can be, only if you choose to stop for one second. When you try to look for better you realise only you are able to help yourself because no one will come to save you when you need them to.

Home is a belief that there just might be a refuge for you to run away to, that you will find one day.

For the future I wish to be seen as a success in other peoples’ eyes.

Not everything has a meaning, including life.

HOME TO ME MEANS LOVE

This is an anonymous story collected from the public as part of THE WOKINGHAM ARC PROJECT.

I love drawing/art, filming movies and community. I am passionate.

I love Wokingham at night or in the afternoon. The Sun and the moon. Friendly. Caring. Safe.

Home to me means love, Wokingham, family, friends, futuristic, artistic, enjoyment.

I hope that the future in Wokingham is friendly and futuristic.

I am a young, strange mind.

I WANT TO BE SUCCESSFUL AND HAPPY

This is an anonymous story collected from the public as part of THE WOKINGHAM ARC PROJECT.

I am creative, kind, sociable, happy, loving

What makes me feel alive in my locale is the nature and the new buildings. I like the sports stuff as well.

Home is a safe space where I can talk to people about how I feel and with my family where people I love are.

I want to be successful and happy. I want to be healthy as well.
