Sustainability
Nicola Anthony Studios is a climate neutral art studio and is a member of Climate Neutral Britain. Each year we fund the planting of 240 trees, and for each team member we offset 1.25 Tonnes of CO²e per month through United Nations Certified Emission Reduction Projects (the average emissions of one person per month).
Nicola uses steel from recycled sources wherever possible, (typically melted & purified into sheet form so that no impurities are left). We prioritise working with fabricators and partners who have green initiatives in place regarding energy consumption, waste production and recycling.
Green actions Nicola Anthony Studios takes on a daily basis:
Shipping: We use only paper parcel tape and non-plastic or reused packaging. All deliveries are carbon offset via DHL.
Travel: Flights remain a challenge but we have carbon offset flights in the past two years, and are looking at more local projects in the UK, and working only with clients who carbon offset their flights as standard. Nicola Anthony Studios has become carbon neutral through subscribing to a monthly carbon offsetting scheme for businesses.

We've set up a collection for soft plastics which are now being recycled by most supermarkets
We also have a veg patch and a composting bin for food scraps on site. We are bee and worm positive!
