Recent Major Commissions
As well as private commissions, Nicola also enjoys creating artwork for public places and spaces. All of these commissions have been created exclusively as one-offs and many of them site specifically.

Commissioned by the Poole Literary Festival to create a literary 'Word Sculpture' which could be used as a base for creative workshops and lateral thinking. Nicola Anthony also ran children's workshops during the festival. |
| 2009 | Commissioned by well known 'Plinther' Sue Luminati to create sculpture for Antony Gormley's Fourth Plinth: Trafalgar Square, London, www.oneandother.co.uk, and featured in a SKYarts interview with Nicola Anthony in the artist's studio.

Visit Article: Striking new artwork for Astrazeneca 2m x 1.3m resin on clear perspex with drawing, printing and painting. Consisting of small resin cells which form a larger piece. The artwork encapsulates drawings and personal statements that define us; aiming to connect with the viewer by being striking from a distance, and simultaneously intricately detailed on closer examination, revealing the daily highs and lows of life, and engaging vision as a close sense; a sense of touch.
